Della joined SB Physiotherapy in October 2024, bringing a wealth of experience from her six years working alongside Celia and the Physio at Home Team in her previous role. With a strong background in secretarial and PA positions both in London and locally, Della’s expertise ensures the smooth running of our clinic. From managing bookings to coordinating schedules, her organisational skills and attention to detail help create a seamless experience for clients and staff alike.
Outside of work, Della enjoys an active lifestyle with her two lively Springer Spaniels, who keep her on her toes. She loves to spend her holidays exploring the French countryside, soaking up its charm and culture. With her warm personality and dedication, Della is not only a key member of our team but also someone who helps make every client feel welcomed and cared for.

Steve co-founded SB Physiotherapy in 2016, bringing a wealth of experience from an career in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
After graduating with First Class Honours in BSc Sports Science from the University of Brighton in 2005, he earned a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science (Physiotherapy) in 2008. Steve’s early career saw him volunteering in Kenya, working with children with special needs and the Kenyan national football team, before joining the NHS and completing his junior rotations at Eastbourne District General Hospital and East Surrey Hospital.
A sports enthusiast with a strong focus on football, Steve spent nearly a decade working in the professional game, Â with Crystal Palace FC Academy, Plymouth Argyle FC Academy, Chelsea academy, and Millwall FC as a First Team Physiotherapist.
Since 2016, he has concentrated on his private practice, combining his extensive expertise with his passion for helping clients achieve their goals. As a keen runner, Steve has completed multiple marathons, including London, Paris, and Brighton, which informs his empathetic and holistic approach to sports injury prevention and recovery.

Amy earned her MSc in Physiotherapy from Brunel University in 2019 and has since built a diverse foundation in the field. She completed her junior rotations at East Surrey and Crawley Hospitals, gaining experience in Medical, Acute Neurology, Neurology Rehabilitation, and community teams. In 2021, Amy specialised in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and is now a Band 6 physiotherapist at East Surrey Hospital.
Amy’s passion for sports shines through her work and personal life. She has served as the physiotherapist for the Irish Korfball team during international tournaments and plays Korfball herself at National League level. In addition, she stays active with CrossFit, combining her love for fitness with her professional expertise to support clients in achieving their physical goals.

Bayron graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from “May Hamilton” University in Venezuela in 2012. Upon graduation, he joined the “Dr Alejandro Rhode” Rehabilitation Centre, where he completed his junior rotational program over three years. During this time, he gained experience in hydrotherapy, spinal cord injuries, spasticity, brain injuries, hand therapy, orthopaedics, and musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. Additionally, he worked at a private clinic specialising in sports injuries and shoulder rehabilitation.
In 2015, Bayron relocated to Panama for a year before moving to the UK. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a neurological physiotherapist at a private conglomerate of nursing homes, caring for patients with a wide range of complex conditions, including brain injuries, learning disabilities, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and more. He then joined the Tunbridge Wells Sports Clinic, where he served as an MSK physiotherapist for a year.
Since 2021, Bayron has been with Silverlake Care as a senior neuro-physiotherapist, where he has taken on the role of lead physiotherapist. Currently, he works part-time at Silverlake Care and has joined the SB Physiotherapy team as an MSK physiotherapist in 2024.

Celia qualified from Oxford Brookes University in 2006 with a degree in Physiotherapy (BSC Hons). After qualifying Celia completed her junior rotations at East Surrey Hospital (including Care of the Elderly, Respiratory, Out-patients and numerous more) before taking a senior position within the Care of the Elderly Team. She then moved to the Chichester Hospital Respiratory team for a year before taking up a senior role within the Acute Medical Team back at East Surrey Hospital. Celia set up the SB Physiotherapy Community Team in 2016, after noticing the gap in care between hospital discharge and return to previous function. She is very proud to have built a team of up to 7 therapists, enabling the team to help more people in the community.
Celia has a keen interest in rehabilitation of the older adult as well as maintaining function and independence in ‘at risk’ population groups, such as patients with dementia and those at risk of falls.

Alon qualified as a physiotherapist in 2012 from Tel Aviv University. Alon then spent the next 10 years working in both hospitals and the community, as well as with professional sports teams and athletes. He is a specialist in the fitting and adjustment of braces and orthotics
Alon joined SB Physiotherapy in 2023 after relocating from Tel Aviv to Sussex with his family. Alon’s specialist interests are sports injuries and rehabilitation post orthopaedic surgery.

Clare graduated in 2006 from St. George’s University before going on to work at East Surrey Hospital. In 2009, Clare specialised in Respiratory physiotherapy and worked in both the hospital and community teams. She moved to Croydon University Trust in 2017, working in the community as part of the Community Respiratory Team, specialising in Oxygen Therapy and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
Clare left the NHS in 2021 and joined SB Physiotherapy where she continues to have a passion for Respiratory and Cardiac rehabilitation.

Laura graduated from Brighton University in 2008 with a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Science (Physiotherapy) and has an extensive fitness background including; a BSc Sport and Exercise Science with Psychology, Premier Diploma in Sports Therapy and Personal Training and is a Qualified Fitness Instructor & Gym Manager
After qualifying as a physiotherapist she completed rotations at Eastbourne General Hospital (including Respiratory, Stroke, Care of the Elderly to name but a few). In 2012 Laura joined the Respiratory team at East Surrey Hospital, later becoming the Team Leader, before starting her current role in the East Grinstead ProActive Community Team.
Laura continues to have a very keen interest in Respiratory Physiotherapy and rehabilitation

Rebecca completed her BSc Physiotherapy degree in 2019 at Southampton University, after having gained a degree in Sports Psychology and Coaching.
Becca decided after her first degree that physiotherapy was the job for her. She worked in the NHS as a Physiotherapy Assistant until she enrolled to study Physiotherapy. After graduation she worked at East Surrey Hospital, working her way up to be a Rotational Band 6 Physiotherapist. Rebecca has a keen interest in rehabilitation post-cancer treatments.

Georgia Heaven is passionate about promoting physical well-being through movement and rehabilitation. With a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science from Loughborough University and an MSc in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, she combines expertise in elite sports performance with clinical rehabilitation.
Georgia has worked as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist in London, specialising in oncological, cardiac, and antenatal rehabilitation. Holding the Level 4 British Association for Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) certification, she is skilled in cardiac recovery, alongside being certified in Reformer and Mat Pilates and Personal Training. Her diverse qualifications allow her to design tailored treatment plans blending physiotherapy and functional exercise.
A professional athlete herself, Georgia has competed in Muay Thai and K1 kickboxing for over two years, earning a top UK ranking in her weight category. Her athletic background informs her expertise in injury prevention and performance enhancement, empowering patients of all levels to restore movement and confidence.
Georgia believes in the powerful connection between physical and mental health, embracing the philosophy that “movement is medicine.” Her ultimate goal is to help patients achieve lasting improvements, whether recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition, or enhancing performance.

Angela started her career in the NHS in 1991 in the Occupational Therapy department as an Occupational Therapy Assistant working both in the hospital and the community. Angela then spent the next 30 years working largely in the community, rehabilitating patients in their own homes after hospital stays.
Angela joined the SB Physiotherapy team in 2022 and has a specialist interest in helping patients to regain independence.

Kate trained at Telford College In Edinburgh and qualified with a Higher National Diploma in Sports Therapy in 2001. During qualifying she worked with the Scotland ladies Rugby team and has continued her sports massage work at East Grinstead Rugby Club.
Kate joined the SB Team in March 2019, as a Physiotherapy Assistant. She works closely alongside the physiotherapists in seeing complex clients requiring the assistance of more than one person as well as maintaining exercise programmes for some of our more able clients.
Kate utilises her massage experience by offering massage sessions for our clients and has completed an accredited course with the London School of Massage to be able to complete Cancer Massage Therapy. Kate has a special interest in the care of palliative patients and those undergoing treatment for Cancer.
