Physio-Led Pilates in Horley, Reigate & Surrounding Areas

Pilates designed for real bodies, real injuries, and real life

Our Physio-Led Pilates classes are not fitness classes with a Pilates label. They are clinically informed movement sessions, designed and delivered by qualified physiotherapists who understand pain, injury, rehabilitation, and how bodies actually move.

Classes take place in our Rehab Gym and Pilates Studio on Meath Green Lane, Horley, in a calm, supportive environment where you are guided, noticed, and adapted for, not pushed through a generic routine.

This service is ideal if you are:

Physio-Led Pilates focuses on movement quality, control, alignment, and progression, helping you build strength safely while reducing the risk of flare-ups or setbacks.

What makes Physio-Led Pilates different?

Most Pilates classes are led by highly skilled instructors, but they are not clinically trained to assess, modify, or manage injury, pain, or complex movement issues.

Our classes are led by HCPC-registered physiotherapists, meaning:

There is no one-size-fits-all approach. If something doesn’t feel right, it is adapted. If you need more challenge, you are progressed appropriately. You are never expected to push through pain or keep up at the expense of your body.

This is Pilates with clinical oversight, designed to support you not just in class, but in everyday life.

Each class is 50 minutes long. To help with smooth changeovers and avoid overcrowding, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class start time. This allows the previous group to finish and gives your physiotherapist time to prepare the space.

A 60-minute physiotherapy assessment is included in the Pilates Foundations Pack and is required before starting classes.

If you prefer, this assessment can also be booked as a standalone one-to-one session, particularly if you would like individual guidance before deciding whether to join classes.

The assessment ensures your programme is safe, tailored to you, and aligned with your goals and any injury history, so you can begin Pilates with confidence.

Yes, that’s exactly why they are physio-led. Your initial assessment allows us to understand your injury history, pain levels, or any conditions such as joint issues, back pain, or postnatal recovery, and adapt the class safely around them. If something isn’t right for you, we’ll modify it.

Yes. All classes are physio-led and suitable for a range of ability levels. Exercises are adapted to suit your needs, whether you are completely new to Pilates or returning after injury or time away.

All equipment is provided, including mats, small props, and resistance bands.

Grippy socks are recommended for hygiene and safety, especially during standing or balance work, but they are not mandatory. Shoes are not worn during Pilates classes unless agreed with your physiotherapist.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, such as leggings, joggers, or gym wear.

We keep our classes small and personal, with a maximum of 6 participants. This allows your physiotherapist to provide individual attention, ensure proper technique, and tailor exercises to your needs.

Yes, there is free on-site parking available for all clients, making it easy and convenient to attend your sessions. Please arrive a few minutes early to find a space and settle in.

After your induction session, your physiotherapist will help you choose the most suitable class and membership option based on your goals, confidence, and progress.

Most people then continue attending regular weekly classes to keep building strength, mobility, and movement confidence.
