Our Fees
All our physiotherapists are Chartered and Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). You can self-refer. You do not need to see a doctor or any other health professional first.
SB Physiotherapy accepts card payments, cash, cheque or bank transfers.

Please Note
Ad hoc Rehab Gym sessions are available to book if any of the following apply:
- You are currently undertaking a Rehab Gym Package.
- You are under the care of one of our physiotherapists and have been cleared to use Rehab Gym sessions.
- You have completed a Rehab Programme Assessment within the last 6 months.
- You have completed a Compex Initial Assessment (£50 – includes a set of pads).
- You wish to use the compression boots and/or access the stretch and roll area.
If you have only completed a Compex Initial Assessment and not a full 60-minute One-to-One Assessment Session, you will only be able to use the Compex, compression boots, and/or stretch and roll area.

Private Insurance Providers
SB Physiotherapy is registered with most of the main Health Insurance Providers.
If you have Health Insurance, you will need to contact your insurance provider before making an appointment to establish the terms of your policy and to obtain authorisation if needed. You may need to visit your consultant or GP for a referral for some insurers
When you make your initial appointment please inform us that you have private medical insurance. We will require the following information from you.
- Your insurer
- Your policy number
- Your authorisation code
This will allow us to directly invoice your insurance company, however, you may need to pay any excess Some insurers may require a physiotherapy provider reference number before authorising treatment. If you require any provider details please feel free to contact us.
Policies and procedures are different with each insurer, so if you have any queries please call your insurer for advice.
SB Physiotherapy are a registered physiotherapy provider with most major private medical insurers, including; AXA PPP, BUPA, AVIA, WPA, Nuffield and IPRS Health.
Cancellation Policy
We ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Where cancellations are within 24 hours we will endeavour to fill the slot so that you do not incur a fee.
Unfortunately, where little or no notice is given we are unable to book other patients into that diary slot and therefore we have to charge a session fee.
We understand that sometimes circumstances arise that are out of your control and we will be sympathetic to this and assist in making other arrangements for you.
